I don't like the badass bridge personally. Takes up too much real estate. I much prefer the hipshot.

I had an Alleva on order when I saw this one in some
of the NAMM pics. I called Jimmy and it was available.
So I bought it...
I didn't notice it had a BadAss bridge on it in the
pics. I was a little surprised when I received the bass.
IMO...I don't think the BA has any advantages over
the HipShot. But, this is the first bass I have owned that
had a BA so I don't have a lot of experience with them.
I would rather have the HipShot bridge on the bass though.
