bernie, nice avatar! GP and the Nocturnals are awesome!

that surf green KBP-4 looks sweet!
Right on! I've just started listening to them recently. I had heard of them before because of them opening for Gov't Mule. I wish I would've started listening earlier! Grace is very talented and she has a wonderful voice. The whole band has a deep groove. I've definitely found a band that I will enjoy for many years to come!

I know we have some TB'ers waiting on KBP5's. Anyone expecting their's soon? :)

I'm hoping within the next 3 weeks!

Woohoo! Can't wait!

I wish. Dan is most likely first by a mile.

I'm in the same boat! :p Won't probably see mine til August but it's ok. The wait isn't too bad and it'll make it that much more worth it.

I just got these pics today from my friend. It is Ethan Farmers Rig on the Baby Face tour and a pic of him with his Alleva Coppolo LM-5 Custom 5 string bass.. The bass was a NAMM '07 custom order piece that Ethan bought soon after.. I thought that i would share them with you guys.

The last pic is of Jimmy doing final tweaking on Ethan's bass minutes before he went on stage with Baby Face..

That bass is Hot!

Well.....I've been having a hand issue,I injured my thumb I need to play a four for a while..

So I gave Jimmy call. The first unclaimed four is a Ice Tea burst Jazz with Nitro finnish and a Indian rosewood board.

Also, I have a line on a sweet "player" 66 jazz binding no blocks in like 7.5 condition.

It's not much more than Jimmy's bass. I'm not sure what to do.

If I get squeezed I might sell your basses twin but not the LG.

It just looks like a sunburst 66. The thing is I think the AC will play better/easier and thats really consideration for me. I'd be very happy with a USA lakland Jo or Glaub with a Jazz neck. Who did I sell my LPB one to?

Tommixx, I've never played a AC 4 string hows the neck? Is it like a L series jazz?

To me, even Better! It feels like the best jazz you ever played! It is amazing how well Jimmy nails the true vintage vibe! I was a little worried that the Nitro would be sticky but it is perfect and it is wearing in very nicely...I gave up looking for replacements for my '62 and '67 Jazzes...

The neck of your 67 was slightly bigger than the 62 right?

I wish he had your bass coming off the assembly line.

Aj

Actually the '67 had been played a lot more than my '62 and as a result was more broken in and worn down. It was maybe a touch wider but not as thick. My '62 was an unbelievable bass but I have to say that I honestly don't miss either of them when playing my Alleva! I agree, I think Jimmy could sell as many like mine as he could build! It is an amazing bass and is my primary go to number 1. I don't even reach for anything else if I have the choice. I am going to have him put in his pre and PUPS in my Marcus Miller to give me that 70's vibe but with the warmth of his pre! I am looking forward to the results.

Peace,

T
