i do have to wonder if Ogden can be taken by storm though.
Dude, it's a town of around 1300. You could take it by storm with a few beer drinking pals and a bicycle with a slingshot on the handlebars. :D

That said, the good news for us is, it's the only game in town for weekend bands, and it also draws from a nearby bigger city, so crowds can actually get pretty good in there.

...gotta' find someone with a dig camera and take some snaps for the chicks at gigs thread... forgot mine... dangitt...

Hey Jonno,
Don't feel bad, put it this way the only reason I know is because I had to know... I went to the lumber yard and picked up Jimmy's order so I needed to know what I was there for otherwise I probably would be hangin' too. :D

Vision (Jason),
If you would like me to, I can snap pics of some of the Ash body blanks there and send them to you so you can virtually choose your wood.

I have also been sworn to secrecy on my LM5 order, sorry I promised:bawl:
Well, you can at least tell us GENERALLY why... is it due to rarity of woods you selected that he might not be able to offer to most customers without local access, or a new feature he's not ready to generally announce yet? We don't have to know the secret, but I think it'd probably be ok to at least know why it's a secret. :)

Thankfully, your priorities are still in order. :D
Oh yeah. The intent/priority is actually always there, the problem is logistics. Just hard to find someone you can rely on to take pics. I've brought digi cams to MANY of my previous gigs over the past several months, and WHEN I can find someone to even try to take pics, I typically got totally unusable quality pictures of good stuff, and/or barely usable pics of crappy stuff. ARGH!

I wonder how much Jimmy would charge to mount a small camera in the headstock with a fold out 2.5" LCD screen? Kinda like those clip on tuners...:hiding::D

LOL!

Funny thing is, I've been seriously thinking about finding a decent digi cam that was particularly good at quick power-on first snap times, and leaving it on my amp. Heck, just let an open note ring for a bar or two and snap some stuff. :)

I do know he's looking to offer further options that he's working on now and planning to introduce at NAMM, I hate to keep anyone in suspense but I promised Jimmy I'd keep my mouth shut. I did however decide to take him up on some further options which I think are going to be very cool and give my LM5 even more of a 70s vibe..

I am sure anybody who's placed a recent order or calls the shop to spec a bass will probably get similar info.
