Sorry for the number of Photos.. I could of gone even further..
The white just pops in the sunlight soo much!!
The last photo is a great touch from Jimmy.. Little birthday tribute for me!
The true test of the beast is the next 2 days and 3 gigs. Just sounds ridiculously good with home practice and then rehearsal the other day with both me and my mate - a much better player than me - playing it. Basically running the bass flat too, everything up, leaving the onboard Pre unboosted and just the smallest touch of 300hz from my Hellborg Pre and its monsterous!
It just does everything a good Jazz bass does and more. Just goes from very Pillowly and Warm tones to over the top crispness.
Im a very, very happy man for my 13month wait!! If I didnt have to watch my spending for the coming months, Jimmy would be getting a second order straight up!! Let the exodus of 'extra' gear begin hahah

I'm glad people are working past this, 'cause Jason said Jimmy has a cat to let out of the bag this week, and I would rather talk about what it might be, and if anyone knows when it will be announced.
Don't forget to lick it too! You know, like that Jetta commercial a year or so ago heheh![]()
I guess I shouldn't 'tell', but what the heck. It is my understanding that Jimmy is introducing a new line of 'vintage' boutique basses based on the amazing Gibson Ripper and Grabber basses of the mid 70's. Options will include maple boards that were cut between one week and one day ago, and custom electronics that, based on comments from the few who have played the prototypes, sound and feel 'just as amazingly bad as the originals'.
lmao.. Nice Ken!
I saw that Lull is putting out a boutique Thunderbird. That's almost as funny, but that's actually real

Yeah, I seen that too! I'm not sure what to think about that. Boy, I tell you what, these Alleva's sure are beautiful. I'm GAS'ing for that Olympic White LG in the Classifieds along with about 1000 other people.
He's doing and Alleva version of a mid-late seventies Stingray?I am not telling...
Peace,

I figure they will also be made in Japan like the metro's...I think Jimmy will introduce an 'affordable' line of no-frills A-C's along the lines of the Sadowsky Metro.
Jimmy eluded to this in an earlier post. I wonder if this is the only announcement for the show? I thinking there must be more than that since he already talked about these..I think Jimmy will introduce an 'affordable' line of no-frills A-C's along the lines of the Sadowsky Metro.
