that is my hope. My feminine side. LOL It was originally my going back to work present but I have decided it will be my divorce finalized present. What else for tulipwood and pink..... LOL Guess last months birth year bass (reissue only) will qualify as back to work after 23 months out. But i got to say i was a full time musician for the first time in several decades. Little health battle with the big C about 18 months ago just to complete the bad news in threes......
Back to good stuff..... I went with a less vibrant but more uniform set of tulip wood. I think it will look awesome.
Pickups will be a tough decision. i have some time....not sure about which way to go. May go real old school such as darkstars or tbirds or nordies...

Electronicssweet. what pups electronics are you going with??
Have a Cliff in on the next build. It will have a Bigman and a Big Split sort of the same territory. Will let you know how it works out. What preamp are you doing?Money sent. Looks like the pickups will be a 6 string Nordstrand P pickup and a radiused Bigman.

Nordstram told me not to switch the bigmanTrying Nordstrand for a change. I believe it will have the push/pull active/passive and push/pull mids. Would like a passive tone knob is possible. I'll also be using a 3 way switch for the Bigman.

I saw that as well, but Adrian who has a Cliff and works for Nordstram told me not to do the series-parallel thing. If you are going single, single, humbucking I suppose that would work. What I wanted was a quad coil BigMan and 3way for series, parallel, single humbucking but was told the BigMan in quad coil sounded "weird".Really? I thought the clip I saw demonstrated how it also functioned as Big Singles and each pickup had a slightly different tone.
