Club Bordwell Part 4

I always have to take their word for it when it comes to the finer details of electronics. I liked what I heard. I didn't really need series/parallel. I have that on my Rami 6 with the dual coils.

Side note: the Stambaugh semi-hollow guitar I have on order will have a 5 way for each pickup to allow for each coil, series, series out of phase, and parallel. I suppose I could theoretically add a cocked wah capacitor on one of the single coil settings to add some difference.
You could pass on the switch and install another volume for the secound coil. I don't like to
Deal with single coil "issues" so for me it is humbucking all the time. Went with the Aundre preamp as it has a preamp for each pickup and have seen issues with mismatched pickups. Also prefer 2 band EQ.

The issue with the BigMan in series is that it will be so loud and thick that it will be pretty close to unusable. Especially in comparison to the single and parallel modes. So we strongly advise avoiding series mode on that pickup. But, if you want to get crazy, you certainly can. Heck, it may be the best thing you've ever heard. But I'd be surprised if that was the case.

Sometimes I am loud, thick, and pretty close to useable. However thanks for the explanation.

I got all Nordstrand electronics on this coming bass, their electronics have become my favorite over the last few years.
Let's start this year off with a new update from Cliff.

Last spam from me, but I wanted to share a picture of both of my BIG McNeely basses from Cliff.
I got to say, that the best thing about the bass is the Nordstrand electronics! The pickups and the preamp are the most versatile and sound amazing!!!

Thanks again to Cliff Bordwell! He builds some of the most amazing basses I have ever played.
