"Headed down south"?? You're already in Florida-where's the family? Brazil?

Relax and enjoy yourself-you've earned some R&R. You've made a whole bunch of great basses that have made a great bunch of bass players VERY happy. Even though #94 was made in 08, it STILL brings a smile to my face!

Ha! I had a feeling you'd pop for one of those Tom! That was a sweet bass, light, responsive, chunky, mwah-ish, and gorgeous. The only thing that kept me from keeping it was the lack of fretlines (which I know can be ordered Mr. C!)

I have a couple of really nice 5-string fretlesses already, as well as a killer little Rob Allen mouse, so I am going with a 4-string, 34" scale (unlined! ) fretless this time. Man, I loved what that black limba brought to the equation in a fretless!

Oh my..... you're going to compete with me about being the one with the most Clement basses, Tom???? I'm not sure I can accept that!!!



I wish I had a gig on New Year's eve.... I've been backing my daughter (age 6) on my Alesis SR18 and my Clement Lise and my Dad on the piano. Not exactly a well-paying job, but it's fun!

Rig? uhmmmmm... my Roland Cube RX Bass 2x2.5W living room practice amp. Surprisingly hot for such a little piece of equipment. And it can be powered by 6 AA batteries for 11 hours use! *lol*

Ok, I had to turn the Aguilar OBP-3 flat.... but still. And it managed to show off the various powers of the Lise Awesome.

And my daughter loves to sing, so maybe not the biggest venue, but probably the happiest artist!

Solid bodied Anne 6 fretless, spanish cedar body, no fancy top, one piece maple neck, ebony FB unlined w/ebony nut, Bart xxM56c quad coil pup @ 110 mm from saddles (18mm spacing), one volume pot and jack top mounted. The butt end will have a modified shape.
