That is a very interesting idea! A fretless VF6? Wow, I've got to stay away from this forum!
+1. I wouldn't know how to choose between my VF5 and BN5 -- and I'm glad I don't have to. The look, tone and playability of the VF5 is second to none, as Phillip can attest, then again the cut and balance of the VF5 is so great, and I really like being able to switch from single coil to noise cancelling in some situations.

One more Fbass to replace my Studio 5 that I sold. Tried living with out one but nothing sounded as good as my Fbass. Here my replacement.

Congratulations! What gear is coming?I have a number! Look out world! I just got my TH500, now waiting for my Audiokinesis Hathor 1544 and Monique by Jule. Should be a considerable upgrade. I've gotten lazy about my sound the past few years doing mostly corp and wedding work but its an important plate to have spinning especially as my band is upping its game. TB has been a great resource but it sure does make you want to spend money.
Well, we'll have another beautiful bass to watch coming together with the able hands of the staff @ FBass. George and his gang will do their magic once again... Can't wait to see it.. GAS.. GAS... GAS...

Hey Jake! It is the Fretted or the Fretless BN5 that used to be yours?
Just curious because I bought the BN5 from Fretspot and it was advertised as new but I bought the fretless from Bass San Diego and it was used (but mint)... they said the previous owner traded it in on an Alain Caron.
I'm digging them both.
