Anybody got their hands on a VP5 yet. Interested to hear thoughts on the tone.
So I listed my BN6 for sale, and am already thinking of pulling it. I'm having issues with tendinitis, which has made me get rid of basses in the past. Someone suggested simply wearing the bass a bit higher, and this took away all the pain!
Now I'm wondering, if I keep it, would a refin destroy the value? I really, really, like the way it looks. I would like to get the little nicks and such taken care of by a pro so it has a nicer finish.
It's not SUPER important, but I would be very happy to spend the extra cash to do it.
Should be back in business again. New BN5 on the way.

I've considered this question many times and always decided to leave them be. If it's not an issue that is bad for the instrument or impedes playability, let it stay.

In awe from all the F's for sale around TB but I found this one elsewhere and on it's way home to me!
You may not be able to tell but m.o.p block inlays on the fingerboard and a 5-bolt pattern which I'm not sure why that is compared to the normal 4-bolt pattern on BN5's...
