The VF 5 never sounded so good!!! Man I love this bass. It's such a great take on the 70's jazz. Perfectly balanced from top to bottom, ultra responsive, and just the right combination of modern and vintage tone.

Just got my AC6 back from George at FBASS...he was doing a little sprucing up to it!!!...Man!!!!...he went over EVERYTHING...buffed the finish, the frets, full set up!!,check over...plays like a dream...If you have your FBASS and its been awhile since you've had a decent setup!! ...I highly recommend you send it into the guys at FBASS!!!...So worth the little cost!!!

Im a little curious to why the FBASS board is slow at times!!...compared to some of the other boards...I personally think its because all the FBASS guys are too busy gigging and not sitting at their computer...LOL...
I have another two months approx...before the gigging season slows down...then a few at the Christmas, New Years time!!

Im a little curious to why the FBASS board is slow at times!!...compared to some of the other boards...I personally think its because all the FBASS guys are too busy gigging and not sitting at their computer...LOL...
I have another two months approx...before the gigging season slows down...then a few at the Christmas, New Years time!!

I find with a lot of the boards people are talking about how to mod their gear, get more out of it, make it sound like so and so etc. If you have an F bass you don't need to change it. They do everything already it's an F bass. That and aside from bathroom breaks if you have time to be online why would you do that instead of playing the best basses on the planet.

I see you're selling the F to fund an ACG. After spending way too much time and money checking out a whole bunch of different basses, I now play only three instruments; a pair of Fs (BN5 and AC5) and an ACG (Uber Finn). While different in significant ways, these builders share some similarities: very high quality craftsmanship, innovation, and unique tonality. And both are highly attentive to their clientele. When I win the lottery I'm going to have each of them build me one more bass.
