That's gonna be killer!
WOW!! Beautiful, Jim
I love Georges' reds! And yes, red is my favorite color! JimInvalid Link Removed
Question, my BN5 is a 1999, back when George was using a very soft nitro finish. So soft that I had him make a clear pickguard for it as my thumb position behind the front pup ate through the finish in one week. I know he has been using a harder finish for the past several years. As there are no opportunities for me to see a newer one, do you guys who have no pg VFs have any issues with the new finish, or newer BNs' for that matter? Thanks, JimI love Georges' reds! Good to know, thanks. Play the heck out the new blue one tooI have had the red one for 3 years and gigged the crap out of it and the finish still looks great. No problems whatsoever.
This new blue one sounds really good. The B string is more even sounding than on the red one. They sound quite different.
Is the difference mostly on the B string or overall sound is different? Just the variables of hand made basses I guess. Same strings? JimThat looks great!Alright, time to request club membership, I think. Took delivery just under a month ago on this beast, my Tea Burst BN-5. It is glorious.
