It never ceases to amaze me how F Bass does that deep blue finish. Reminds me of cobalt blue glass, just beautiful.

Always loved the Fbass pre, it just enhances the passive tone, very natural sounding, unlike some others I've owned. JimCheck out my recent purchase...

I'll take the Natural and the Amber Burst, thank you very muchJim
Totally agree but call me old fashioned.... but black or natural ceruse on a FBass IMO is just perfect. Classic and perfect to me.You are absolutely right Jim! Other than my natural the only other one I like better is the Amber burst, that reddish/orangish outside with the birdseye maple board looks incredible to me!
Although if they would have put black hardware on the root beer I think it would have been a real stunner!![]()
If you like how Fbasses fit together...I love how the bodies "fit" together, reminds me of an Escher print.

That's awesome man, I wanted to find an example of their ultra blue satin finish in this thread but was too lazy to look through the entire thing. So you don't have it anymore?I was the original owner of this particular Fbass!. That was my first adventure into Fbasses! It's the bass that put me in this group #61. It was a NAMM 2009 bass and it killed! I now have 3 Fbasses and BN5, a 60's VF5, and a 70's VF5 Custom. The 70's VF5 Custom is currently for sale/ trade.
