It never ceases to amaze me how F Bass does that deep blue finish. Reminds me of cobalt blue glass, just beautiful.

You are absolutely right Jim! Other than my natural the only other one I like better is the Amber burst, that reddish/orangish outside with the birdseye maple board looks incredible to me!
Although if they would have put black hardware on the root beer I think it would have been a real stunner!
Totally agree but call me old fashioned.... but black or natural ceruse on a FBass IMO is just perfect. Classic and perfect to me.You are absolutely right Jim! Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'm going to be dreaming about this bass tonight. BTW, it's one of the ones posted on Fbass.com right now.
IMO NOBODY does blue as well as George.
I was lucky enough to have had a very long tour of the FBass shop with Marcel while George built a ramp for my BN5 fretless and the 5 or 6 blue basses that were being built or ready to ship were just stunning in person. Actually all were amazing.
Kinda strange that no other builder that I know of does a blue bass that looks even nearly as cool as FBass. IMO anyways and I sm not a fan of blue basses generally...
Not to sound over the top, but they are just so vibrant and the blue with the grain showing just pops like no other bass brand I have ever seen.

Bluer than blue
I was the original owner of this particular Fbass!. That was my first adventure into Fbasses! It's the bass that put me in this group #61. It was a NAMM 2009 bass and it killed! I now have 3 Fbasses and BN5, a 60's VF5, and a 70's VF5 Custom. The 70's VF5 Custom is currently for sale/ trade.
