I’m still smarting from missing out on one of the two white Classic that recently sold… so, if either of those of you who bought one decide it’s not for you - hit me up.
For those who are looking for a Moollon P bass, Brian at The Low End has 2 used P’s. No affiliation.
If I wasn't so close to the finish line on my P IV I'd buy that black one in a second.

A Moollon JV4 in Lake Placid Blue just turned up on Reverb. I'm wondering how long it's going to last? Although from what I've seen it seems like the highest demand is mostly for the P-Basses.

Same here Andi told me 3-4 more months in early April so hopefully getting real close now.

Dang looks like both those are gone too. I emailed brian he said the black is paid for and done and the red has 5 in line. Jeez
When I was initially interested in the hollowbody P I took a shot at DMing Michael League to ask his thoughts on it. He was kind enough to reply that it's a great bass with a unique sound. I put in the order a week later. I ultimately changed my mind and didn't go for hollowbody because it didn't have an arm contour.
Not surprised they're gone so fast. These will be sought after basses for years and years to come, especially if prices of lumber don't revert back to the norm.

I wonder if new orders have slowed down at all or if they are still piling in.
Hopefully YJ can catch up and also take a breather at some point. A healthy YJ means more lovely Moollon's for all of us.

Exactly. It's crazy how many people want them. Worth it I'm sure.
I'm happy I have 2 orders in. I have a blue P coming hopefully this month or next, and had placed a 2nd P order in February 2021 so I honestly expect that end of next year at this point.
Part of me wishes YJ would say no more orders for the next 6 months to a year so he can catch up. Wait till the wait time is under a year and then figure out whats next.

I think that’s everyone’s concern lol. Cuz like we predict once someone gets their bass they put in another order thus keeping the list the same length.

I know there is at least one vendor in S. Korea that usually has them in stock. But, as per agreement with Moollon, they are only to be sold locally. That’s what I remember reading at some point, though I could be way off.
