Club Sadowsky!!!

Yes i like the black more but for some reason the tort keeps calling.....By the way i have to agree your WL has got to be one of the nicest i have seen, they nailed it for sure.

I remember coming into the Brooklyn shop to pickup my first bass from you. On that visit I got to watch you piece together like a jigsaw puzzle the first Buckeye top for a Sadowsky. I also recall seeing several logs of Buckeye that just didint stand up for Sadowsky quality but were very useful in being used to hold the front door open. PS, did you get my card ?

Finally had my first chance to do some recording last night with my Will Lee, and was very pleased with the sound. Just ran it direct through a Summit TD-100 into the board and needed no adjustments; great tone from start to finish. It may be a while before I can post something though -- the drummer/producer takes some time to get things done, as evidenced by the fact that the background music on my band's myspace page still features the old bass player -- the one I replaced almost three years ago.

Maybe I'll get some live YouTube footage up in the next week or two tho. I got a Zoom Q3HD and am going to record some gigs with it.

Seriously tho, the Sadowsky HC's are really nice. I think at least the 5's are based on the DiMarzio UJ's, and I've always liked those for an HC J sound. I would like to try some straight up model J's at some point tho, and also some Nordstrand NJ5S's. For now tho, I'm still diggin' the SC's most.

The HC's are great - I'm sure they sound awesome in that bass. It's funny but I was thinking of swapping my SC's out of one of my Ash/Maple Sadowsky's just to have some two slightly different variations.

Actually, last night I recorded with my Metro Hybrid P/J, straight to my Aguilar DI... The funny thing is that I already recorded it with my Zon but wasn't too happy with the sound, so I decided to try the Sadowsky and It sounded sweet!!!... Shame on me for cheating on my Sadowsky!!! :spit:
