I saw the flame as well. The top I'd initially wanted for mine bug missed out on had some extreme flame going on. It was spectacular. The spalting on the one I ended up with is much better, though. There's just a touch of flame in mine, but not enough to call the top 'flamed.'

When you test the battery through the output jack, the Batt-O-Meter calculates the number of hours you have left as a function of the battery drain of the circuit. This will be different on everything you test with the Batt-O-Meter. But I recommend you replace the battery when it drops below 8 volts.

Yeah, it has a max reading of 10.23V, but there was an article about how it could still sorta' be used with 18v systems, but now I can't find it. I emailed them about this about about 1.5 years ago but can't find their response at this point, either. Argh. There was also some mention at one point about them making an 18v compatible version, but I can't find any recent comments with more tangible info, so I wouldn't count on such a thing anytime soon.

Was thinking about getting a RAMP for one of my SADOWSKY basses, my NYC VINTAGE With Brazilian FB to be exact, Anyone try a RAMP on their SADOWSKY BASSES? I wonder if Roger would build one. Thanks in advance. Still LOVE my 2 SADOWSKY Basses. Funny how i used to like my new SADOWSKY strings, now on my Brazilian FB one i LOVE when the strings get old, go figure.
