Club Sadowsky!!!

Like i said the only thing that i felt uncomfy with the Modern 24 was in standing position .. the neck felt an extra 2" longer or so and made me twist my wrist in a way that does not happen with my 21 fret NYC.... So i sold my 24....

Kirk.....Not sure why you experienced this. The bass horn is the same length on the 24F as the 21F. The extra 3 frets extend into the body, so the neck length from the handing position on a strap should be exactly the same.

+1

I don't feel any difference in hanging balance or first position reach on my 24 fret vs my 21, and I'm especially sensitive to that because I'm only 5,9 and have smallish hands.

Thanks all! I appreciate all the compliments

Here she is residing in her new home and fitting in well in a lovely Sunday morning.

Sounds killer with my 400+ and PH cabs!!! :bassist:

Beautiful bass, Jose.

Here are the long awaited, much anticipated money shots of my gorgeous NYC. Sadowsky club number 444 (thanks, Fran). Looks like we are doing alright up here in New England!

Nice burst on that. A wider band edge like that makes for a more accentuated centre burst colouring in many cases I feel. I have the identical stand & like it a lot.

I just called the guy... Yup it is my old bass that i sold on ebay 10 years ago... Its so weird that i was thinking about that bass just this week and i do a search for the SN on color and there iit is . up for sale in Nashville just the other day...

Its one that i never should have sold..
He has a deal pending right now . so im in HOLD mode. ughhh
It was ash/ maple/ lightweight!! and the larger old style neck and thinner headstock....
My friend hugh had one just like it but in burst... . one of the finest recording basses that i ever had for what i like... EVER!
I may sell my NYC CAR PJ5 that has been great , just to get this one back.. my accountant will KILL me if i went and outright bought something else,...:D

I know we all experienced this but, I just couldn't let it go without some acknowledgment.

I sent an email to Kevin last week in regards to a question I had about my volume pot. Seemed the knob was loose and made a clicking sound when you hit it. I thought the brass sleeve just needed tightening. I got a call back from Roger and he address my question. We identified the problem and he replaced the pot with a brand new one and shipped it out the same day.

This is world class customer service at its best. Roger and crew wrote the book as far as I am concerned. Every customer is important to them and they sure make you feel that way.

I just wanted to send a shout out to Roger, Kevin and crew to show my appreciation for their dedicated customer service. Outstanding!!!
