Club Sadowsky!!!

Anybody notice Will's new bass, with the soapbars on
The Letterman Show? Maybe Roger can tell us what's
up.........

i got a NYC WL4 with soap bars...apparently you can get them in a PJ set up too ;).although i've never played or heard of a NYC WL4 with Jazz HC or SC J config to really compare to...as far as apples and oranges comparing the WL preamp to the standard VTC in my MV4 the bottom end does sound alot fuller (or fatter..however you want to put it :smug:). bypassing the preamp controls, it isn't too difficult to get the two to match up in sound, but they both have subtle differences. mind you the bass is still relatively new for me so i'm still trying out where my "sweet spot" is on the bass :bassist:

Thanks Roger & Kevin for the opportunity to finally meet you both & see the birthplace of tone & artwork. Great to see the crew & chat a bit as well. May & I had a wonderful experience in NYC & DID walk the walk on Wed. morning. ;) but were too early for the pizza. (BTW, Grimaldi sold & moved around the corner.)
Now - back to the news room. :D
Blair.

My build's finally coming down the home stretch! :hyper: Specs are full-size body with an amazon rosewood f/b with blocks. It'll also include a MOP guard, chrome hardware, and bell cover. Less than 8.6 lbs. Can not wait to play it!

Kevin, Roger, and team have been exceptional communicators. Big thanks to them!

No photos...you've never been there. :eyebrow:

you kiddin'? can't wait to see your top 100 picks :D
Will you settle for 12? ;)
The day started at the E Broadway subway station in Chinatown & a couple of small statured seniors from Toronto took the F train all the way to the front door of a very special shop in LIC & opened the shop door.
Here's a few peaces of some photo history for y'all & especially for those that won't have the good fortune to make the trip in person. It was so nice to chat a bit with some of the crew & I apologize to those who were busy elsewhere in the shop & whose photo I missed taking in wandering thru some excitement. I'm afraid I could have handled the opportunity somewhat better in the limited time I had. It was so nice to also meet Roger's lovely wife.
Thank you Roger & Kevin for such a warm welcome. It really DOES seem as we've been friends for a long time. All the best to all at the shop. Good luck to Rob & Rob.
B.
