Have any of you guys been able to get the black marks from years of play on maple finger board out? Thanks
I got a 55-94 once that was badly abused and nasty. I used naptha and elbow grease to clean it. Got 80-90% out.

Hi: Metros with soapbars in 60s positions no less. Is this overseas or Japan only? I've been dying to pick one of these up
From what I can see Japan only. However, check out EBay. They will sell to anyone but price is high.
Yeah, Metro 60's soapbar position from Japan on eBay for $3.5K plus international shipping. I wonder why they are able to make this configuration but it is not offered outside Japan. I suspect Roger could sell many, many of these, except for the fact that it would detract from the core NYC effort. Perhaps this is a Jason Newsted prototype? Oh well, one can dream, right!
I found them on a Russian (I think) website. I have the slightest clue how I found them.I remember seeing pictures of Jason with 2 different Sadowskys with his logo on the fingerboard and I think they had soapbars IIRC...
These seem to be the same size and the pickup cover can be flipped either way. I agree that the logo should be right-side-up, that can be fixed by just flipping the cover. These are the nordstrand sadowsky singles if that matters.
Hmm, I wonder how that site got those pics? Regardless, looks legit. Can't decide if I would want something that "branded" so to speak with the inlays. Nicely done though. I'm kind of curious to hear some clips of a Sadowsky with those soap bars now.
