SO YOU'RE THE ONE!!!!

Concerning our P-PJ pickups......
On a five string we use Custom spec'd Nordstrand PJ Pickups..A matched set.
On a four string we use custom Spec'd Dimarzio PJ pickups..Also a matched set.
We do not use Fralins.
The "J" pickup on a PJ is a Hum-cancelling pickup...not Single coil.
Rob
Hey anyone out there have a NYC Sadowsky VJ that is butterscotch w/maple board? Butterscotch body, b/w/b pickguard, maple board, chrome hardware would look classic IMO.
I'm also curious if butterscotch and butterscotch-blonde are one in the same as shades vari on even the same body wood? I could only find two examples on the website, one VJ4 that is butterscotch-blonde, and one Tele Pbass that is butterscotch. The Tele Pbass is the color tone I like best. The other seems to be a lighter shade. Both are on ash.
I love classic 59' burst but I have one already![]()
Still love the orange trans too...![]()

I wish you could see the trans orange in person. It really is something. There is a LOT of the ash grain coming through, which gives it more of a 'burnt orange' sort of look in person, versus the brighter orange in the pictures.

Burpy 'Jaco-Growl', 'Thumpy P-bass', and if you want it, low end presence that would make a DJ (or an 808), jealous!!!

Ok, I can't stand it. I HAVE to get in on some of this:

hmm...
wonder how a single coil would sound? wouldnt mind a little extra aggression w/ the smoother P pickup's hollow midrange.
then again, wonder what a big single back there would be like w/ the P-pickup!!!
Yeah, Vic, I know I should be smiling cause I'm playing a Sadowsky, but we were playing a blues tune at the time...
Cheers,
Kevin
