That is called Candy Apple Green, which was part of a refin that Pat Wilkins did for me. My lead guitarist had the Clapton custom strat in what was called 7UP green way back when, and I always wanted that color at some point. Took it to the shop to have the neck sanded and oiled after the refin and Lisa mentioned that she wanted to do more CAG basses (about 2 years ago), so that may be a little bit why the color is showing up again. Apparently the green ones didn't always move so quick, but there seems to be a resurgence.
I had debated ordering a quilt maple NYC with trans green (same idea as @BluesyCat) , but found this used for a gret price, and put the difference to the repaint, and my quilt maple Lakland in trans red a la BluesyCat.
