Sorry Apples and Oranges on this one.... I like one over the other and a minute later its in reverse. Basically You are the winner in the one you choose.

I had a translucent blue US Lakland for 14 years and I like the blue but the 3ts/rw/tort gets my vote every time.

Bora blue burst, I believe.

As a professional, do you feel this ‘more traditional’ color is more accepted by your band Mates? I am not a pro such as yourself, but when coming in to gig with a new group I do wonder if your color/ style choices(figured vs painted, unusual colors vs TSB) makes a differences in perception...

I am sure your gear makes an impression before you ever play a note but I picked the caramel burst because on a stage the caramel burst seems to catch my eye. As for myself I have always loved a 59 burst finish with a tort or mint PG or a Black finish with tort or perloid PG. But that's just my personal preference.

The Blue is beautiful also so you have a grueling, torturous decision to make. But that's a good problem to have.

If going the quilted maple route... I prefer them with no pick guard or control plate. Very clean look and shows off the wood. Much better look IMO.

Awesome, it looks great. I've been thinking about a Candy Apple Greenburst, similar to this, but metallic.

The CAG is metallic; and to my eyes, it want's to pop, so the black of the burst is a bit of a damper. The way I have mine with the white pearloid guard is like having a glass of champagne in your hand; just puts a smile on your face for a fun party. I never get tired of looking at it.

The burst on the trans green is interesting with some nice dark wood grain (similar to the one just posted in the HK shop). Personal preference as always; either way I think metallic CAG is a totally underused color.

Love Blueburst. My longest standing axe is in that finish, but when it came time for me to take the plunge, I went the trans black route.

I love this finish!

It would look amazing with an ebony fingerboard.

The caramel quilt makes me feel warm and musical. The blue makes me feel soulless with mild nausea. Other than that, both are great instruments!

That looks like dark cherry burst (?).

LOL, you must not like the ocean and get seasick easily! Actually I like both, but the blue reminds me of the Caribbean, I love to snorkel and dive in...FWIW
