Club Sadowsky!!!

Anyone else score the $20 Sadowsky Neostrap? Holy cow this is nice, I haven't used one of these before. Major design points for the ease of installing Straploks. Seems like I've always wrestled with the strap ends to get those attached. I've been using Minotaur straps for years (Link Removed , no affiliation - just dig the products). It will be interesting to see how the Neo makes the shoulder feel after 3+ hours.

I have several of them (one on each bass) and they're the best I’ve found. Sad they are discontinued.

I have many of the unbadged ones @MOSCOWBASS mentioned and can vouch that they'll go 3+ hours on a Sunday morning with minimal sitting time.

Mine's on the way. I already had one but couldn't pass up the great deal. Very comfortable.

Are they not badged Neotech straps?
Which are available:
Mega Strap
I’d ordered a Mega Strap before and the Sadowsky badged ones are nicer- the neoprene part is longer, and the holes ends are already big enough for dunlop straploks. This was a few years ago though, so things may have changed.

Btw, put LaBella tapes on this - do not do this! They are terrible strings, the texture is slick but they are sloppy like a rubber noodle.

They are good strings and simply depends on your tone goal, I had those both on fretted and fretless basses, sounds amzing.

I use a "Hammer Driven Small Hole Punch" to make holes in my strap ends, I think that either 3/8" or 7/16" is the correct size. Makes the Straplok pin install a piece of cake.

Yes, I scored one as a backup to my backup. Especially since they’re not being made anymore and at a discounted price no less. Most comfortable strap I have ever owned. Thanks Roger.
Thinking of storing it in my safe with the other “valuables”. :D

Kinda thinking I should've ordered 2 but 1 will be perfect.

I bought one. Comfortable as an old pair of slippers and my Dunlop strap locks did fit right in.
