Yes, she is absolutely beautiful (thank you), but I mean the playability, the crystal clear tone, and the versatility that comes out of it are just mind-boggling. Ever since I strung it EADGC, it's like the bass has been re-born.
I just started experimenting with a mute under the strings at the bridge. I'm trying to come close to a Motown 'thump'... more tweaking to do, but I might be able to get there.

Honestly though you saw me on a pretty tame night. Kinda the reason I didn't ask to borrow the Sad. for the evening. Amazingly enough, the Fender Jazz is still very very clean after a while of that. I think I am getting a hold of this space thing.
