Man, FRAME THAT PICTURE. I wish I had one like that. Oh well. Maybe someday I'll get a brand new NYC and make the trek out there to get a picture taken with Roger and the bass.

Thats where i am headed too now, to get it printed 5X7 and picking up a frame, already 1 step ahead, lolololol.

Roger is the man!
I first dealt with Roger back in 1995 when recording an album in Chicago with my band at that time. The producer said, "it would be great if you could fly out to New York and get a Sadowsky". Well, I had no money and that was out of the question. I called Roger and he was so cool and understanding, and he hooked me up with his outboard preamp. I called him a couple times during the project, and he treated my like I was one of his longstanding customers, and was very helpful. He also got me set up with Nathan Priest to get one of his tube direct boxes. In the last several years, I have called Roger and his staff many times with questions about the specifics and history of various basses being sold either on TB or eBay, and he always treats me like I've bought several basses from him, with fantastic service.
To date, the only things I've bought from his shop are various strings, polish/cleaner/polishing cloth, Hydrate fingerboard conditioner, a 500k volume pot, and the outboard preamp, and I always get first class service. I've had 3 NYC's in the past (still have one), all were bought used, and now I have my first brand new Sadowsky, but even that one was not from his shop, but rather is a Metro from Bass Central. Maybe someday, I'll actually buy a bass direct from Roger's shop.
I guess I just wanted to rave about how gracious Roger is, and how his customers get first rate service, even if you are the 3rd or 4th owner of one of his babies (even if you don't have a Sadowsky bass at all). He really is a class act, and makes fantastic instruments. We are very lucky.

Thanks and i have your PRE-AMP ready for Jan 9 when your buddy comes from ARGENTINA i will be there between 9:00 AM and 9:30 AM.....Thanks everyone for your kind words....Got to hit the shower just got a call to play CONGAS tonight for someone that did not show up and i will be exhausted tomorrow driving down to FLORIDA for a bit.
