Cool color combos?

I'd like to second for Ocean Turquoise Metallic.

[...]Possibly the classiest looking scheme for a Jazz: Shoreline Gold, matched headstock, Bound and Blocked. This particular bass in one of my favorites to ever appear on this forum.

[...] And this Goldburst 90's Climax. (never seen another G&L in this color)

If it's Gold I'll probably go for it, like a fish on a shiny lure.

Go for the gold Brad!

As you may know, I grew up with my dad's auto body shop in the back yard - so I kinda got sick of looking at all that automotive paint! It turned me into much more of a wood guy.

But, I was thinking about repainting my satin black Hot Rod gold, so I had my color group photoshop it in two different golds to see what it might look like:

So far it is still black, but I am pondering it....

Hey Brad

Chip Foose is one of the greatest man - I am a big Overhaulin' fan. I love that beast he created - but I like pretty much everything he builds and the amazing part it is usually in record time!

I was going for that LP Goldtop color with the one you liked....

Sorry to hijack the thread for a minute.....

That one is pretty bad ass.

Hi here are some pics of my Indonesia 2001 squire Standard jazz bass (not affinity ) made by Cort for Fender.
It is in Shoreline Gold and had a white pick guard. I added the Tort pick guard and pickup covers All are fender parts with fender part numbers.

it has fender flat wound strings number escapes me at the moment.

this guitar has a very nice sounding pickup has a sweat sound. will be changing out controls to two stacked knob set up all fender part number, with pio caps.

i have been playing bass for about 3 years this a bass equal to my skill right now.

at this point in time i have $170 total in this bass with the controls change it will still be under $200 total cost.IMG00122-20150122-2148.jpg IMG00123-20150122-2149.jpg IMG00124-20150122-2149.jpg
