This has officially become the "Hey, I have a P-Bass too!" thread. I'm out.

I kinda agree, but I'm staying just in case.

Yes, most P's are cool, but this thread started out featuring Precisions that were unusual, and lately everyone who thinks their standard is cool is posting to this thread. There's other threads for that. This was used to be about the super fancy and unusual.

Well, since we're including Laklands...

Lakland USA Glaub with Joe Osborn 1.5" neck. .77" neck depth at the 1st fret .94" depth at the 12th fret.

Looks even cooler with the chrome pickup cover like the one above, but I took it off. I love the East Indian Rosewood fretboard with the Birdseye Maple Dots.

I'm really digging this thread. I've seen too many cool looking P's to pick just one, but I do have a thing for the '51.

BTW, I got a black P-bass body en route to me right now. I'm gonna put on my maple P-bass Special neck, a black pickguard, and a 'F' logo neckplate. Another one of my favorite looking P's.

for me, this one (original 1962 in seafoam green, puchased in 1975):

and this one (1955 P in Mary Kay blonde):

Well it's about time, man the anxiety was killing me, I almost posted the SFG myself, but thought better of it.

You should definitely post the full layout of it.
That bass deserves to be seen from all angles.

I think my early 70's Univox Professional bass is pretty unique, rare, cool, sounds and looks great. And was $120 with the original hardcase. :)
