Now all you need is a bass with the thumb rest and another that has six knobs instead of three

Hi Nightman, I think it might be that others including yourself are waiting for a progress report on the thumbrest bass. I have been talking with the programmer and it is definitely moving forward, although much slower than I had hoped, but it is now in solids which means we can see it in 3D where as before it was thousands of lines all intertwined, the programmer called it a bowl of spaghetti. He has untold amount of hours turning these lines into a solid that we can see. The necks and fingerboards are carved and I need to start working on them as soon as I have a batch of my Classic II's done that I've been building. Plus I'm finishing up one of my Acoustic Improvs for a great Cajun musician who will be coming to my shop next week to pick it up, he'll be touring Canada from April through November 2019 and wants this guitar for the tour. I'm hoping to build at least a few of these new basses starting in November. When you're a one man shop the wheels turn slower than one might hope.
