I have a solid body model 'The Fusion' made by Chuck in Cherry Burst. I was picking up another guitar from Chuck when I saw it on display. Three days later I called Chuck and snagged it.
Chuck's Cherry Burst finish is great it has a depth to it that captures the eye.
Chuck no longer makes the Fusion model but I love mine, it has it's own thing going on.
You will really love the Cherry Burst finish, goodluck. :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Hi guys, I haven't been here in awhile. Congratulations Nightman on the sale of a couple of your basses, I'm hoping to finish your Cherry Burst 5 string this week. JTBass_6 that pickguard does look good on your bass, it was missing something visually without it IMO. I have started the ball rolling to bring back the thumbrest body with active circuitry and am quite excited about it.

It just means I want one also. When I saw the basses with the thumbrests posted on this thread it stirred something inside me and I new I wanted one. It's difficult to let these things go when they're done, granted I need the money to survive and build more but it's still hard putting them in a shipping box and seeing FedEx drive away with them.

Well, I can certainly understand that!! You spend so much of your time creating these gorgeous basses and then playing each one to make sure it meets your expectations. You can't help but become attached to each bass. I can see the difficultly in letting them go, especially your basses with the thumbrests!! They are by far the best looking bass I've ever wanted! :thumbsup:

At the risk of sounding a wee bit selfish, and I apologize, but I'm kind of glad you are building these for a living!!! :bassist:

And after I get mine, I'm going to start a CP Thornton Appreciation Fund Raiser to pay for yours!!

If Chuck doesn't mind me saying I have been a customer for at least 12 years or so.
I can't tell you how many times Chuck has built himself a guitar or bass and was excited about it. Then I would talk to him and as usually happens a customer sees his guitar or bass and bingo it was gone. Just one way that Chuck puts his customers and business first. Always a class act and working for the customer.
