Sometimes they just come up. I played w/ a 4 piece horn section I dubbed "The Doublestuffs" because of the way they lined up. Two white dudes in the middle with black man bookends. It stuck and they all loved it.

I once knew this white sax player who used to play with a couple of black dudes. They called themselves "The Oreos".
