Just placed my order for a semi-custom Lecompte with the following specs..

I'm totally hyped. The body is going to be based on a TRX-5 but for standard non-fanned frets

I think that I am destined to pretty much always have a bass on order with Pete Skjold.

Currently, I have orders in for a Lion's Pride 5 (ash body, figured redwood top, 3-piece neck, birdseye maple board), a 10-string (5-string with octave strings), which has woods yet to be determined (probably a spanish cedar body, though), and a 'P-Bass' (not sure what Pete will call this model, but I want a solid mahogany body and ebony board).

Current Skjolds I'm waiting for are: Lions Pride 5 string. Alder body, ebony board, 3 band pre w/sweepable mids. and 6 string custom series fretless poplar body, ebony board.

and.. I don't know if this counts.. but I'm also waiting on my Dargie Delight Bongo 5 HH, to match my Dargie Delight SR5.

Finally got the first production shots of my new Alembic Europa. Not much to see yet, just a neck:

For those curious, the laminates are maple, vermillion (padauk) and ebony.

Wowee - that is beautiful. Is that a redwood burl front and back - I really like the pups to, they appear to be maple but not matched to the fb.

ALl good - mine is here soon, this doesn'y make the waiting any easier

I'm waiting for a Status S-2 classic 5 string. Walnut back, flamed maple wing facings with walnut centre block, in an aquamarine high gloss finish. Headed graphite neck. Cant wait! Should be done in a month or so, I ordered it in early January. Standard S-2 electronics, which is an 18v circuit with bass boost/cut, mid frequency with a boost/flat/cut switch, and treble boost/cut.

The pickups actually do match the board, but they are finished and the board is not. The pickups also have a bit more birdseyes than the fb does, but its still purdy to me hehe. The knobs will be replaced with birdseye ones as well, but Pete didnt like the way the first set came out so he is having some more done up for it.

The top and back are actually Amboyna Burl, not redwood
