Custom Bass Wait Support Group Needed!!! [Part 2]

Wow, I missed some good stuff! Do subscriptions to threads expire? I haven’t been gettin’ notified.
Anyhow, the Laggan 7 should ship next week.
Was supposed to have happened a couple of weeks ago.
(seems to be a nation-wide 500k blend pot shortage.)
Just needs wiring and strap buttons.

And fretless is the way to go
Do you guys think these knobs should stay or go? Not sure if I'm hip on the abalone dots with this one.

Good time to reveal the other item Im waiting on:
While the Laggan was slllooowllly coming together, I was pursuing my Ideal fretted Gigging bass.
When I scribbled together my ideal features for a possible one-off,
I wound up with something like a 24-fret 6-string Pedulla Rapture
Then I ran accross Matt Pulcinellas site for MPG Guitars
His [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]was almost exactly what I was imagining!
(And doesn't require a Mortgage)
I did a quick rendering with the specs:
The most custom features are the maple PU covers and the position of the neck PU.
Put down a deposit in the spring.
Not sure how long it will be.
I just learned I was part of a "batch" of bodies and necks Matt was working on last weekend.

First off, that's a HOT Conklin
Second, I think I'd like to see it with matching wood knobs. otherwise normal black might be nicest.

I so badly wish I was a member of this group.Hopefully soon.
I've been waiting for almost 20 years, and finally know the secret handshake. The worst thing for me was that Bob Gorny in Chicago handed me a bass almost 25 years ago to "try out" for the night. It was the perfect bass for me back then. He said it could be mine, but needed to have the money in a day or so. I just couldn't come up with the cash as a full-time player. The price for a hand-made custom bass back then? $350.
