Apparently because he wasn't actually arrested, he didn't get a phone call. That said, I replied by e-mail, "If you are serious about wanting to go out with me, then you'll find a way to spend time with me. I'm pretty low maintenance. It doesn't have to be fancy dinners, flowers, candy, or going out and spending a lot of money. Time is all it takes. So - if you want to make it up to me, make time for me. Ball's in your court. Have a great weekend."

Have him finish painting for you. :)

If you guys don't mind today, I'm going to ask for a favor. My family needs a prayer or a candle or whatever passes for a request for a good outcome in your faith. I found out about 2AM that my sister has the big C (Thank you Facebook). She went to pre-op this morning about 6 and surgery starts at 10:30. They're saying 3-6 hours depending on what happens when they're in there. A few days in the hospital, then home for a couple of months of recovery and whatever the chemo requires.

Positive thoughts and wishes to you and your sister, Tat.

How is her prognosis? What type of cancer, if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks everyone - ya'll are the best.

Her name is Toni. And it's breast cancer. I just got an update from my niece giving me more details than I had at 7. Although they think that today's procedure and the chemo will do the trick, when she was diagnosed it was at a little more advanced stage than the doctor would have liked. As a result, they're doing a full double-mastectomy and reconstruction all in one fell swoop.

My wife is an occupational therapist, one of the programs they run is a breast cancer recovery program.

If I can help, or if you have questions, feel free to PM me. I don't know much about it, but I'm sure she'd be happy to help or make suggestions.

In any case, when she pulls through, and SHE WILL, encourage her to get into a good therapy program.

Tat, reading your "I DO have a warning label"; I thought you might could use this...
