Thanks. That made me laugh. I needed that today. Typically, I refer to the red hair as a warning label, but this one is pretty awesome. I wonder if I can get it on a t-shirt.


On another note - I've always liked that Bertrand Russell quote you have in your sig.

They do - and like I said - my sister has made family drama an art form. I'm sure she's going nowhere. I'd almost put money on her telling everyone how real her new b00bs look and feel, and asking them feel her up to see if they concur. It would be definitely be her way of doing things.

She probably won't have any problem finding "test subjects".

In the interest of science and medical advancement, I'll take one for the team and give her an honest opinion.

I have a dramatic sister as well. I know where you're coming from.

On the serious side my wife had a lumpectomy over 10 years ago and all seems fine. Hope things go well for your sis.

In cases like this, it always seemed to help when the person had a reason to continue on. Hopefully this will help her get through it and get her back to normal in no time! :) (I figured humor often helps in getting through tough times, so .... ;) )

I got the ceiling done this weekend. And 2 coats on 2 walls. I'll finish the last 2 walls both coats tonight. Maybe a 3rd depending on well it covers. I never thought a neutral wall would be so difficult to actually cover up. Gah. But it's looking good so far - and I have progress pictures so I can post the whole project.

She hasn't spoken to me since Thanksgiving - where she only said about 30 words to me in 6 hours. I'm not sure she'll go out - but I ask when I know she's going to be around.

Dangit! We're in the middle of a lot of work in our basement and I never thought to take a set of before pictures to compare to "after" pictures. What a dope!

And "marveling at yours" is something I've done outside your and all the CWBs windows on multiple occasions, as you can tell by the "buildup" on the outer surface of the glass.

Her name is Toni. And it's breast cancer. I just got an update from my niece giving me more details than I had at 7. Although they think that today's procedure and the chemo will do the trick, when she was diagnosed it was at a little more advanced stage than the doctor would have liked. As a result, they're doing a full double-mastectomy and reconstruction all in one fell swoop.
