CWB 14: Whiskey and Beer

I worked so long today that I couldn't make to the store on time. I'm thinking of hitting up DSW to see if I can score some boots first. It's funny Tat, your construction week is uncannily similar to how I've laid mine out. :) Nice work and we are all looking forward to your pics

Be sure to put the animal cam out there - then sell the foggy, fuzzy, grainy, too dark to make out anything but a shadow film to Finding Bigfoot. Be sure to tell them that you think peeking in windows from the flowerbed is "typical 'squatch behavior."




How they determine "typical" behavior from a creature no one has caught yet is something I haven't figured out, but I will one day.

I should be in bed now - but Starship Troopers is on and I can't stop watching.

So I woke up this morning to an e-mail apologizing for the no-show last night. And since he knew he'd screwed up, attached was a copy of the paperwork from the local police department - who had detained him on his way home from work until after midnight. Apparently his new-to-him car with temp tags matched the description of a car stolen in the area on Friday. When they pulled him over, he got snarky with the officer and that was the end of that.

Along with the apology was a request to please let him make it up to me. And if I said yes, to tell me what it would take. So - we'll see if he accepts the mission or just falls off the planet. One thing is for sure - I'm not waiting by the phone.

Tell him you should have been his one phone call. Unless you want to make him grovel some. That could be reason enough to give him another shot.

Apparently because he wasn't actually arrested, he didn't get a phone call. That said, I replied by e-mail, "If you are serious about wanting to go out with me, then you'll find a way to spend time with me. I'm pretty low maintenance. It doesn't have to be fancy dinners, flowers, candy, or going out and spending a lot of money. Time is all it takes. So - if you want to make it up to me, make time for me. Ball's in your court. Have a great weekend."
