I have been going through images, online, trying to get any kind of idea for the airbrushing scheme on my bike. I had evil clowns on it before the deer incident. Now I want to do something different, but I do not know what

I think my brain is melting, and soon I will not even know what an airbrush is

These guys have a good balance of cute to evil.

The bike is now finished in chameleon (color shifting paint). It shifts from purple to copper color. I may just put a clear over that, and not do the airbrushing for a while... I have work piling up, and I just do not have the time to spend on the paint right now

I can always go back and add that in later

Slow day! Where is everyone?

I'm around. The last 5 or 6 days have been really busy between the Vague Assurances gig Saturday night, a bunch of different family stuff (all good), and work.

No VAs practice this weekend as we always take off the week after gigs, but I've got a practice with what I call the blues project (not to be confused with the Blues Project), which is two guys on guitars and vocals plus me on bass and harmonica. Still a project for now but it may lead to gigs. They're good guys, and I like the music, and I would rather play with other people than practice on my own.

Back to the VAs - we sold out all the CDs we had last Saturday night (don't get excited, we only had 40 of them), so we're running another 160.

Also up for next week - up to Upton Bass in Stonington CT to get Big Mama's city sister restrung and set up ... really needs it. Tried to connect up with Thor who is nearby to Stonington, but it didn't work out as he has a business trip at that time. Then I have got to hunker back down on my jazz chops on upright and get that going.

Meeting up with BassGen and his band for their charity show on Saturday night. It promises to be a fun evening from what I've learned so far. There will be pics....most definitely.

And it's become a big deal to me to try to meet TBers when I travel. I can't always make it happen, but when I can, it's pretty awesome.

We had our final rehearsal before the show tonight. Hope we git it right!

Tat, looks like I will be heading to the hall around 2 or 3 on Saturday afternoon. Drummer and Rhythm guitar (he's actually my BIL) are meeting me there. We will get set up and make sure everything works. If yo feel like it we could probably jam a few songs at that time. Main sound check will be about 6:30.

Friday night I am open. We can grab dinner and/or check out a our local equivalent of GC. I don't think I can handle a late night in advance of the long day on Saturday plus I will need to load up all the gear. It pretty much fills my truck and I think I need to run out Sat. morn and rent 1 or 2 extra stage monitors so we can all hear our voices over the amps. We don't mic our gear so the amps are turned up pretty good and as a result we need a lot of stage monitor power.

PM or email me with where you decided to stay and I'll figure out where we can grab dinner on Friday night. The missus will no doubt join us. Think my daughter is coming to the gig too.
