It's more like I was busy writing riffs on bass and then lost inspiration.....so.....

Just when I'm getting ready to call it a night you all wake up?
I'm all jacked up. Just got in my first band. Can't sleep now.
I can't compete with the Northern California guys with their cowboy boots and so on. But if we're doing house photos, here's a poor cell phone pic from my front porch, looking over to Woodstock and Hunter Mountain:
again, sorry for the poor cell phone photo - it's like 10X more beautiful than that. And when the sun goes down:
so, it's pretty awesome. But I am ready to concede defeat on the footwear front. No cowboy boots here.

Nah.....I can't drink where I live all inspiration is sober. Sometimes I only have it for a minute. :/ I think my main issue is I need other people to compare ideas with and bounce stuff around and jam a bit

Um, do you have bears...and cougars....or any other sort of wildlife that might make a person into a snack? If not, then you win.
I'm not posting the view from my backporch or my front porch, cuz it's nothing to look at.
We do have an @$$ load of raccoons and suicidal deer though.

Bears are not an issue. Cougars are, but only the human female kind. Coyotes, foxes and wild turkey, we've got, but they won't hurt you. Suicidal deer are a plague around here as well, but actually not so bad lately since the coyote moved in. I actually kinda like the coyote for that reason.
My uncle's property. 4th of july, ended up staying out till 3 with a few beers, some sammiches, and FIRE....

It doesn't really matter to me. Winter is fine too. Geez Louise, you're in f*ing Chicagoland in winter and you're complaining about the conditions elsewhere? I'd rather be in NoCal.
