I enjoyed these, thanks for sharing. You sounded great on "Use Somebody". I couldn't hear you very well on "Comfortably Numb", I think maybe because of where the video camera was when it was recorded. But great, job and Congrats! :D

Tat and FM, the hubz needs to know what color your eyes are for the animation. (I couldn't tell for sure from looking at the pics.) FM, he's got yours almost done - probably should have it soon. He's got some very hot boots on you. :-) Tat, I'm gonna look through the thread and find some pics of you with bass. He said it will be a very loose resemblance anyway (he said he's not good enough to get a really close likeness). So, no need to take a new pic for it. (Although posting new pics is of course always encouraged.) :)

Thank you thank you! I don't belt on Comfortably Numb - the song doesn't call for it and it offends the keyboard player. LOL. I figured it would be okay to take one for the team.

PA - my eyes are grey. John was over yesterday, but my dryer took up all his time and attention while he was here. Since he had plans with his wife for the football game, I didn't nag him about pictures....but I'm going to try to figure out the timer function of my camera to see if I can get some myself. If not, maybe I can get something good on the video and then just snag frames from that.

Okay - back on track - I thought about another game this morning while I was out walking the dog, too. We should totally and completely do a Bassistopoly (I have to call it that since Bassopoly is taken and dedicated to fishing).

Bassistopoly could be a play on the Monopoly concept with these translations that I've thought of so far - any new ideas, please toss them out there:

* Bank is "the Venue"
* Banker is the "Venue Booker"
* Jail - Instead of Jail, we have pay to play
* Get Out of Jail Free - An agent calls and asks to take you on
* Community Chest - good things like being called to go on the road with a famous band, recording contracts, endorsement deals, etc.
* Chance - Truck breaks down and is late to the venue, girlfriend shows up unexpectedly at a show and busts you with a groupie, wife shows up and catches you with the gf and the groupie, your old agent was found guilty of embezzling from you and the courts are able to get your money back, etc.
* The states/streets are gigs at famous venues
* Houses and hotels are replaced by short-term and long-term show contracts
* When you land on a gig where someone else has a contract, you pay their wages instead of the Venue
* Railroads are "Music Stores"
* Utilities are Custom Bass Luthiers/Custom Builds
* Every time you circle the board, you've completed a tour
* Passing go gets you paid for the tour you're completing

What do you think?

Teal is a more accurate description of the color. :p
Truth be told, it was marked at $100, but my dad gets a 20% discount because of some working relationship between where he works and the music store. So I called him up, and he had just finished working so he met me at the store, bought the bass for $80 on his debit card, took the $55 I had in cash, and said call it even. :smug:
