The Graveyard of Broken Hearts and Dreams is where I am most well known. It's located deep in the Black Forest of Betrayal, on the Isle of Shattered Promises. Perhaps you have heard of it?
They have excellent pawn shops there.
Here's a little something to derail into for a minute. Do like the baby monkey, and get on your pig and hold on tight!

Install Fralins, CTS pots, Switchcraft jack, cloth wiring, and Orange drop cap. Swap the bridge if you want, for a Wilkinson bent metal one.
Love achieved.

autodidact said:Well I immediately remove the bridge and replace it with a BadAss, take out the tuners replace with Hipshot Ultra lights, send it to John_K for a refinish, order/install a Warmoth replacement neck, de-fret the neck, play it, put a "for trade feeler" ad in the classifieds, change my mind, play it, change the pots to CTS, install a new orange drop capacitor, debate whether its better playing than my SX pbass, start a threads asking if the new bass or SX P is better, then I post it in the classifieds for sale.

I can't decide if being the only one NOT needing a PM from Tat to understand what she is talking about makes me privileged, or perverted. :/

Where is that spoon smiley when you need it.Silvertone was from Sears. They used to have them in the catalog in the 60's. I think they were all Japanese production. There are a lot of TB'ers more knowledgeable that me on classic MIJ factories, so post up in the Basses section when you get a chance and post the results. I am afraid to enter that subforum for reasons I am sure you all understand.
