The HXStomp is working out good. I do use it as mini HXFX most the time, but the smaller footprint is ideal. The Helix core being universal across all Helix platforms allows you take advantage of the bigger Helix options. So, its great for studio use. Plus, the Stomp can be used as an interface, which is a bonus... But yeah, the new setup allowed me to downsize. The board is just a Pedaltrain Classic 24"x 12.5.
awesome. Those are the main reasons I want to get a stomp. Plus the amp n cab sims are still a huge selling point for me. The guitar player who’s home studio we use has nice plug ins. But I want an already made tone ready to go in a small pkg once I enter the room. I think the stomp is going to get me there.
