I'm pretty OCD when it comes to that. If it doesn't fit within the bounds of the board it drives me crazy. It was a major problem with my old Cali76-CB which was very long for a pedal and with top jacks it introduced lots of overhang.
Right?! Amen brother. I was moving on from OD to OD for literally years. The MBD was a total GAS killer for me in the OD dept. Love that!
Wait the MDB-3 should be a onboard preamp module. 2 stack knobs for controls. Hmmmm
dude!!! Thus would be amazing!!! What a great idea. Only you’d need 3 stacked pots. To get it all anyway.
Ok so on a 4 knob bass that’s a stacked pickup balance/volume and a mdb-3 preamp. I can see it!!

I have to say, that Effectrobe thing looks amazing. I can imagine the MBD will sound amazing into it.
I got my MBD2 a couple of days ago and what an incredibly good pedal it is!
I made a smaller board for using at home and to bring wherever, while my gig board often stays with the rest of the gear, often on its way somewhere.
Can’t speak good enough about this pedal, I know I’m preaching to the choir here... And the combo of MBD + Olympic! Absolutely fantastic! And a good compressor of course.
