My MBD1 is arriving today, so that’s cool. Seriously considered the -2, but there’s something about the original big box pedal that appealed to me more.
You're gonna dig it, another pedal maker talked me into one. It kills on every bass I have.
I’ve wanted one for a long time. Was set to buy one a few months ago, then went a different route (Orange Bass Butler), which didn’t really work out, so now I’m finally getting one.
Guy on here had it for a good price, it is an always on pedal now (except my wife is home all the time now), it just adds so much as a boost or a drive(which I really really like), makes the Delays and phaser sound otherwordly
I'm awight. Hour cuts at my job got me a little woe'd but other than that, I'm still alive. I know a lot of other folks have it a lot worse so I'm thankful I still have my job! But man is it stressful right now!! Life goes on....and so do we...
So after an afternoon of messing around with this thing...I’m kicking myself for not buying one a long time ago. Damn!!
Things are just starting to get crazy in my area but we're adjusting. In the meantime, I'm probably causing a little structural damage to my home from experimenting with the Mammoth Tamer... I hope you guys (and everyone here) are doing alright!
Thank you for asking. I have been practicing heavy duty news restriction, avoiding as much news, updates, personal accounts, and pandemic talk as is possible. I’m not unaware, but comparatively less anxious overall.
I highly recommend this.
My band of 6 years just ended, so for the first time in a long while, I put together a board just for me.
It’s been great fun.

- If there is nothing in the Loop, does the control act as a LPF? I'm basically looking for a quick way to instantly cut the highs from my signal without the resonance or quack of an envelope filter ("dub switch on!").
- Does the Bloop split my signal if I use the Effect Send but not the return? Will the filtered signal travel to the Output while the full blooped signal travels from the send? I'm thinking of this from a bi-amp perspective.

Question on this, because I read his first question as 'does the knob control the cutoff/rolloff' of the lowpassed cleans. It's my understanding from your site that the knob just controls the amount of low-passed clean signal paralleled with whatever is in the send/return loop, but that the LPF is fixed and starts around 1K. Is that right? If so, what would the knob do when you have nothing in the send/return loop? Is it just a volume knob at that point?
