Give a man a break will ya?!? I had planned to release it last year but I didn't love the prototype. My original design did not translate as well as I had hoped. I seemed to have erred in teasing it so soon. It's coming along. We're on prototype no. 4 I think. I won't release it until I'm in love with it. Hope you all understand. Thanks!
You’re the man, Jeff! And yes, you definitely teased it too soon. We appreciate you waiting until you’re happy with the finished product though. I was just giving you a hard time earlier... On another note, the site looks great!
A small detail regarding your URL. damnation audio works fine. However, https://damnationaudio.com (in your signature) does not work.
Im not sure if this has been addressed already but does anyone know the mA draw on the DIST2? I have mine in a 100mA tap and notice the LED dims on my power supply when I play though the Curmudgeon.
Ive got a weird thing happening too with my D2 in the chain with the bloop in its loop. I also have a lot of other things happening on my board too though. MIDI controller that I’m triggering my tuner with that’s on the HX stomp. And the bloop is pre stomp in the chain. So that could be something too. But even when I mute to tune, if I engage my D2, it actually comes through in my signal. Not full on like my tuner is bypassed. But it’s like really muffled sounding. So yeah, I thought that was weird.....it could be a number of things in my situation though. Haven’t really troubleshooted as of yet. Also, @father of fires is there a way to change the D2 to not be engaged upon power up? Or is that just the way it is? Like a boss pedal does.... just curious.
For what it's worth, my MBD-1 is like this, too. I thought that was just the nature of that hard-click switch.
I have it hooked up to its own dedicated 100mA output. Noticed that the LED on the power supply dims when I hit a note. Not necessarily just when it’s on. Only does it with this pedal as far as I can tell. Seems to sound just fine, just thought it was strange. Maybe it just crushes that much. Lol.
Nope. They default to on. Im not sure it's a big deal. I just turn mine off when the pedalboard is powered until I need it.
My -1 did also. My -2 does not. Not a huge deal, I just gotta remember to click them off when I power on my board.
