You missed an output for the circuit but that's a good visualization.

So if the idea is just two gain settings and not a boost then that is actually easier to implement.

Where I was getting confused was that it seems like folks want a boost and not just two gain level choices.

This is a great idea. My Rat Tail is like that. Although I never really use that feature, if the MBD1 had a 2nd switch like a second/more gain option, I would use that. That would be so dope! What would be even cooler, if you could work it out to where it could be like a mod. So guys like me, if I wanted this, I could just send the pedal to you and you could add it!! That would be the best!

I wish the MBD1 had more gain on tap sometimes. I use it as an OD all the time. BUT, if it more gain, I would use it as a dist too.

More gain means more noise and more splat. It just needs to be done right.

Stacking seems to work better than just pumping everything up to 11.

I honestly love the MBD just how it is. I would use a boost though even though I dont “need” it. I think this would be the best change to the pedal if there is going to be one.

Second gain stage would be cool too but honestly probably wouldnt use it much either. Im also one of the weirdos who like the bigger enclosure.

Installed some Davies Black 1470 knobs. I really liked the look of the [White MBD-1] original knobs, but was having trouble quickly seeing the settings, with only the dot at the base of the knob...

Btw, the Davies Oxblood 1470 knobs are a-w-e-s-o-m-e, but I couldn’t find them...the black 1470’s are very nice though!

Yo @father of fires, I'm starting to really look forward to the Ugly Twin. I'm feeling the need to have a fuzz on my board, and I'd like a good excuse to throw some more money at you. Any updates on it?

What do you wanna know?

The planned launch date is 8/15.

I will be getting some demos done soon.

Are the controls finalized? Does it have a blend? Is the "final" box gonna be pink like the prototype one I've seen on Instagram? See any good movies lately? What's up with the three footswitches?

It's three effects in one.

It's a special artist model based on the pedals he uses.

It's not intended to be a bass specific pedal so there's no clean blend.

Each footswitch turns each effect on as needed.

Yes the controls are set. No more intended mods.

Despite my best efforts it sounds awesome on bass but it's absolutely killer on guitar.

Yes. It's Pink.
