The knob is a volume control for the low-passed clean signal. All the way counter-clockwise, there should be no cleans, just your other pedal. All the way clockwise, there will still be signal from your other pedal unless the volume of that pedal is zero.

Either way, I'm really liking it.

A little confused on how to use the phase toggle. I guess it is just one of those things where you just have to see which way the toggle sounds better.

I'll try and sum up.

1. It's a true bypass loop which means simply you put pedals in the loop and switch them in and out of your chain. If you want to make any adjustments to the pedals in the loop you make it on the pedals themselves.

2. Much like the MBD I don't subscribe to mix controls. I much prefer separate level controls for each signal. The clean channel is a parallel signal that can be added to the signal in the loop. The knob doesn't balance your signal it ads to it.

3. The phase control is simply a corrective measures. If the pedal (or pedals) in your loop invert your phase you may hear a thinner sound when adding the clean low. Just flip the switch and see if it improves. To test what it does try putting a patch cable in the loop. Turn the clean level all the way up and flip the phase switch down. You should hear what an out of phase signal sounds like.

Blend controls and exp pedal control of sweep. Some pedals have these features but not enough. Also, I think an optional dirt circuit on a second footswitch would be killer because so many people use phase and dirt combined. Also a 2-4-6-12 stage switch would be killer too. Just basically designing a dream phaser here.

Working out an enclosure swap with Jon from Nunez Amplification for my early run Annex— snapped a quick shot to send along (to showcase how tough gaffer’s tape looks on a pedal!)
Figured I’d post it here too- still working on a set order—

My current favorite barebones setup consists of these two running into my Rusty Box.
Seriously need to snag a loop blender soon- just gotta get through the holidays..

P.S. There is probably a Bloop in my future for 2019. I really like the Tech 21 Oxford and Leeds pedals, but they are designed for guitar: the Bass frequency is 170Hz. Usually that's fine, I can get deeper lows (if I need them) from amp or bass, but in some situations I've wanted a Blend. On top of that I figure the Bloop will be a great tool to have in the shed.

Has anyone put a guitar wah in their bloop? I'd imagine it would be like a girthier geezer wah. the main reason I'm asking is that I'm on the fence about adding a wah to my guitar rig, if someone here has had good luck with a guitar wah/bloop combo on bass It would push me over the edge.

Not sure but some wahs don't like buffered signals. Which might be an issue.
