So what? They all bought Dingwalls because of Nolly? LOL! Dingwall existed 20 years and sold quite well before anyone ever heard of Nolly or the word "djent."

Boyz II Men played a free show last night in the grassy lot formerly known as "The Landing" here in Jacksonville, FL. Had I known a Dingwall was going to be played there I still wouldn't have gone.Will Shively from Boyz II Men as well…though he’s much less of a metal head than Stefan
Actually I had other plans, but I did ask my friend who went if they are now called Grumpy Old Men or Men to Geriatrics.

You said no one playing metal, aside from “Nolly fanboys”, uses NG basses.
That’s simply incorrect.
Suggesting a band like Bad Wolves sounds like Periphery (or Animals as Leaders, a band that has no bass player at all) makes it clear that person isn’t familiar with this style of music.
Bad Wolves is an active rock band: they tour with bands like Three Days Grace and Papa Roach.
Periphery is a djent metal band: they tour with bands like Plini and Veil of Maya.

According to a statement that Sheldon made a couple of years ago, the Combustion series actually saved the company from going under. It put a whole lot more Dingwall instruments in players' hands than the custom models. I always use mine to make beautiful, joyful noise unto the Lord.

I am not surprised. I know the Skylines kept Lakland from going under too.
