Enjoy the Cali! I've got a 76-TX on my board that is a "forever" piece of gear for me. I really love what the "pop" it adds to my signal.Let us know where you get to on it. I'm betting that I can make it work live, also this will now be in the mix too. I've never been a compression guy, but we've got a few places I can use it and I think the X/D will also benefit for it. Apparently, I dive into the deep end right off. This is my first 'pedal compressor' although I have a handful of rack units.

Seems like lots of guys like flats. I've never been able to get get along with them. They end up sounding tubby and hollow to me and I have issues with string tension. I know at least one other local Dingwall player who has flats on his standard Combustion.
I really like both those Z's. I don't know why, but I have a fondness for the green/yellow burst thing on Dingwalls and the Z-2 has a lovely quilt. Sorry it didn't grow a 3rd pickup though.![]()
Speaking of "forever" gear, I've happened by a Jule Monique Dove Cage that's for sale locally, and I'm thinking about picking it up. Then I'd be a fully indoctrinated member of the Dingwall, Monique, Greenboy clan ;-)
