Speaking of Supers, my new (to me) Super P5 has joined the family!

What an outstanding photo, that is just gorgeous! You win points for being a visual artist as well as a musical one! Enjoy!!!
very classy looking bass. Congrats and like John said, Nice photo
I know I sound like a broken record, but I've really reached my endgame setup. It simply doesn't get any better than this.
I love my Super P5... looks a lot like yours.
You have a very nice bass there. I had my eyes on that while it was in the classifieds. In addition to tone, I'll bet it has sustain for days.Well, rehearsal tonight. GAS gone. My ABHS is literally all the bass I'll ever need. I know I sound like a broken record, but I've really reached my endgame setup. It simply doesn't get any better than this. As you can see, I pretty much set the EQ on the AOU flat. Tone Hammer amp is flat as well. No EQ necessary when the bass itself sounds so amazing. The passive tone and s/p switches gives me all the tones I need. The hype is real when it comes to Dingwall.![]()
Problem is (and it's not a problem really) that Sheldon keeps on creating and coming up with better basses every year![]()
Thank you John. As soon as I get my DR Hi Beams on her I'll put her through the paces. The pickguard is not that bad. It's a beautiful bass! I'm not going to replace it, at least not for a while. What an outstanding photo, that is just gorgeous! You win points for being a visual artist as well as a musical one! Enjoy!!!

Yeah, I thought about Pure Blues too. So far they are the only nickel strings I like. However, I have 4-5 sets of Hi Beams so I'll use those for now. Also, I've been buying my DRs from Amazon and the PBs are $10 more a set (five string). It really is a classic beauty! If you ever want to try another nice 'flavor', you'd probably enjoy DR's Pure Blues.![]()
Was it ever in the classifieds? I bought it from England after an ad on the Facebook group. There was a similar 6-string posted a while back which I believe @Flabzilla snagged. That one was active. You have a very nice bass there. I had my eyes on that while it was in the classifieds. In addition to tone, I'll bet it has sustain for days.
I really don't see how it can get better from my ABHS. Helps tremendously to dull any GAS.If I had a dollar for every time I said that... I would have a few dollars I would spend on more gear lol

Sooooo the body of my Dingwall was replaced yesterday by a Dutch master luthier. It's a tad heavier now (which is no prob), and I've put up the old body for sale here but I find it very hard to put a price on it. Is it reasonable?
Yeah it must have been the 6 string I was lusting afterWas it ever in the classifieds? I bought it from England after an ad on the Facebook group. There was a similar 6-string posted a while back which I believe @Flabzilla snagged. That one was active.
Sustain? Oh, very much so! It sings. To the point that it's almost silly.![]()
