Is it just me, or do #4 and #6 have a lot of "faces" in the wood grains? If not, happy trails to me.

I don't. It showed up in my Facebook memories this morning. and I decided to share it because it had been a while. From the shop:
The core wood on this Z is normally seen on our Prima Artist model. Figured walnut on the bass side and figured soft maple on the treble. When you tap on the body you can hear a distinct difference in tone from one side to the other. When playing it, you can feel a distinct difference in the response from one side to the other. The B-string snaps back at you while the C-string is warm and gentle.
To give the best possible impression of what it will look like with hardware mounted I assume
I dont think its on the price list but a standard body upgrade is $200ish. Im guessing this is more then standard

Also, good to note that just because it's 'been done' doesn't mean they'll do it again.
Best to check if you're seriously spec'ing out a bass.
It'd be nice to see a dotted line where pickups might end up, but I think that is helpful. I think it is an actual piece of foam laid over the top. If a piece of wood is AB only, then they have a slightly different one if I recall.
