Dingwall Owners Club

Go for Alperious, then post pictures, be bold.

I went ahead and tried it myself. It's looking good so far.

Sheldon himself saw a picture of the design, and said that it may be a good idea to smoothen the transition from the pickguard to the neck heel by smoothly filing it down, which I'll try.

There has been a development. My old Super P5 has appeared again on the market, close to me. I didn't think I'd miss it, but when it showed up I got the urge to buy it back. I'd need to sell the ABHS in that case, however. But if everything works out I can free up some funds needed elsewhere, and get the Super P5 back.

I've not made up my mind to a 100 percent yet, but it is tempting.

If you don’t want it, can I have a chance at it?
Oh, and what’s she look like?

Which one do you want a chance on; the P5 or the ABHS? :D

They are both in Sveeden.

In all seriousness, though, I really do miss the P5. I'm meeting the seller next week to try it, to see if the magic is still there.

Is it? The ad says frets are 85% but the truss rod is very tight, and the body is quite scratched. BassDirect has a Invalid Link Removed for €2200...€300 over this one. I would personally stay away from it.
Well, in looking over the pics, I see the thumb wear near the pickup, but its not all that bad. I can't make out any other sctraches but I'm sure if you asked, he would shoot closeups of where they are.

As for the truss rod, that could be operator error. It could also just need a little oil. But I am partial to Whale Pool Blueburst, so what to do I know?? :D

Agreed, I've had my eye on this for a while, but the truss rod worries me very much. Plus, the exact picture of the bass shows up on several ebay abz listings...

It's either a scam or it's one dealer using multiple accounts to try to get a hit. I have seen that many times and it all comes from Japan. I'd say stay away unless you're actually in Japan and can meet in person to buy it.

Holy cow that's nuts! Yeah def staying away, I'll wait for another ABZ5
The real link had been posted by @BuffaloBob4343 on the previous page. Don’t buy from the eBay markup resellers.
