I just noticed this stunning Z2 on my FB timeline:

That looks amazing. I really wish I could get EMG pickups that fit my ABHS. Though TBF I dunno if they'd work with the series/parallel switches.Recently took delivery of my Z3 and had custom Nordstrand Big Singles installed. What a great instrument!

If I recall correctly, the Allen wrenches are not metric, they are standard sizes. Any hardware store should have them.
I’d get a ball end for the truss rod.
Man, I wish I could remember where I saw those sizes listed. Seems like it was on the Dingwall site.
I just looked my wrenches over and there’s nothing stamped on there just the color coded tape.
For some reason 3/32 sticks in my head for pickup adjustment, since you can use it as a feeler gauge to set the treble end of the pickup with the string fretted at 24th fret.

There has been a development. My old Super P5 has appeared again on the market, close to me. I didn't think I'd miss it, but when it showed up I got the urge to buy it back. I'd need to sell the ABHS in that case, however. But if everything works out I can free up some funds needed elsewhere, and get the Super P5 back.
I've not made up my mind to a 100 percent yet, but it is tempting.
See picThese are the standard Dingwall set sizes:

I don’t have my Combustion info in front of me right now (in the van moments from load)... but most will match.

Nordstrand is definitely the Dingwall pickup retrofit choice. I sent both my ABs to him and Mo replaced my stock pickups with Nordstrand NJS pickups (hum-cancelling jazz). Fantastic upgrade, since I've always loved jazz pickups. I also had him replace the Aguilar pre on one of the ABs with a 3 band Nordstrand pre, which I love.Big Singles are great. I actually call this custom version Big Dingles
Those pickups look SO COOL on a Dingwall. Is there any chance of hearing some sound clips?Recently took delivery of my Z3 and had custom Nordstrand Big Singles installed. What a great instrument!

Contact your dealer or directly through Dingwall. I emailed Dingwall sales and they sent me a split P-tone for my SJSo, where does one go to buy a Dingwall P-Tone pickup? Toying with the idea of putting one in my D-Bird.
Nevermind. Jason is working on that for me.So, where does one go to buy a Dingwall P-Tone pickup? Toying with the idea of putting one in my D-Bird.
